How it works

From an empty account to a stream that reacts

This is the whole setup, in the order you actually do it. Nothing here needs a plugin, an API key or a piece of code you have to write.

1

Create your Evenity account

Register with an email address on the Evenity web app. One account owns one workspace, and the workspace is where every action, sound, overlay and asset lives. The free package is yours from the first minute and asks for no payment details.

2

Connect your live

Install Evenity Desktop on the computer that runs your stream, then type the TikTok username you are going live with and press Connect. There is no API key to paste and no token to fetch: Evenity supplies the connection credential, because a streamer should never be asked for something technical they have no way to get.

3

Build your interactions

Create an action and choose which event runs it — a gift, a follow, a share, a subscription, a comment, a like — then add what it should do: play a sound, show a picture or a video, print text on screen, call your webhook, press a key, or switch an OBS scene or source. Sound Alerts get their own row and their own sound.

4

Choose your overlays

Open the Overlay Gallery and pick what you want on stream: a Top Gifter board, a gift feed, a social rotator, an auction board, a gift menu the audience reads. Each one has its own look you set from the dashboard, and every one of them is a Browser Source.

5

Paste it into OBS

In OBS, add a Browser Source, paste the overlay URL you copied, and set the size the widget asks for. The overlay draws itself over your video and updates the moment something happens in your live.

6

Go live

That is the whole loop: your live happens, Evenity reacts on your machine, and your stream shows it. You can change any of it while you are live — a config change does not need a restart.

What runs where, and why it matters

Evenity is two programs that share one configuration. Knowing which is which explains almost everything about how it behaves.

Evenity Desktop — on your computer

  • The connection to TikTok LIVE
  • Sounds, played locally, at local latency
  • Anything that touches your machine: files, keystrokes, OBS scene and source control
  • The OBS overlay pages, served locally so they keep working if our servers do not

The Evenity web app — in your browser

  • Your account, your workspace, your package
  • Writing the configuration: actions, events, sound alerts, overlays, Comment TTS, presets
  • Your asset library: sounds, pictures, videos
  • Analytics, gift catalogue and your billing history

A paired Desktop and workspace stay in step: a change you make in the browser is written through to the machine that is streaming.

What you need before you start

  • A TikTok account you can go live with, and the username you go live with.
  • A Windows or macOS computer that runs your stream — Evenity Desktop installs there.
  • OBS, or another program that can show a Browser Source, if you want overlays on screen. Sounds, alerts and actions work without one.
  • A microphone or capture setup as usual. Evenity does not come between you and your audio chain.
